Isaiah 26:3 God’s Peace

Isaiah 26:3 God's peace

I don’t know anyone that likes to have stress in their life. We all want peace. Peace is not just freedom from arguments and fights, but it’s a true inner calm.

What is peace?

Peace is an inner calm and security that allows you to think, work, sleep and enjoy life in good and bad situations. True peace comes from God and is one of the fruit of the spirit.

You will keep him steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you.

Isaiah 26:3

Jesus said in John 14:1, “let not your heart be troubled.” Jesus repeats this promise in John 14:27 saying that he will leave us peace, but not peace that the world gives.

The world seeks peace with money and possessions and name recognition. But none of these things will give you true inner peace. You will always need more money, more fame and more things.

Jesus gives us a better peace.

When you have a troubled heart, you have a sense of inner disturbance and unrest. Jesus says we can trust him and he will give us peace which calms our hearts and minds.

How do you receive the peace of Jesus?

In John 14:6, Jesus says, “I am the way, the truth and the life.” Instead of trusting on money, possessions and fame, we trust in Jesus. We repent of our sins and accept Jesus as our personal Savior.

Jesus is the eternal God. He created all things and sustains all things. Even now, he has control of all things. You have a choice. You can trust in things that will pass away in time, or you can trust Jesus, who is the beginning and the end (the Alpha and the Omega).

Trust Jesus today and his peace will dwell in you. You will have perfect peace. He will keep you from slipping.
