We live in times that need hope. A hope that only comes through the power of the Holy Spirit and faith in Jesus.
What is this hope?
A deep belief and peace that some day we will be with Jesus forever. All the trouble, sadness, and difficulties will be ended.
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:13
The verse is written as a short blessing of Paul to the Christians in Rome to strength their faith and still applies to us today.
I love how this verse states, “may the God of hope fill you with joy and peace in believing”. What an amazing gift, God gives us the faith to believe so we will have joy, peace and hope.
While the verse is a blessing, it also reminds us of our part to believe, but we aren’t left alone to just believe. The Holy Spirit will strengthen your belief and hope beyond your ability on your own.
Remember, no matter your situation or circumstances, you can still have joy, peace and hope every day through the power of Christ that lives in you.
