With God All things are possible

One of my favorite Bible verses is, “With God all things are possible.” What hope this Bible verse gives us.

In homeschooling, you often feel like you have taken on the impossible task. When you started homeschooling, you might have felt like you didn’t know what you were doing. As things progress, it would be nice to think your children wake up every morning as eager beavers waiting to learn, but most days that is not the reality at your home.

When we face these obstacles if we aren’t careful we’ll become defeated and frustrated when we look around and see other homeschool moms and families having great success. It seems like every day their kids are learning new things and grade levels ahead. While you struggle to get through each day. I’ve been there with you.

Today might seem like a hopeless mess, but hope is not lost. You can rest assured that with God all things are possible.

What seems impossible to you today?

Maybe you have spent years working on multiplication tables, your child just doesn’t get it (until finally years later they do).

It seems like your child never wants to learn anything, then suddenly they find something that interests them and they spend hours and hours studying this subject every day.

What homeschooling challenge do you feel cannot be overcome today?

You are not alone. God is with you. Claim this promise – With God, all things are possible.

But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Matthew 19:26

Everything we know about the life, death and resurrection of Jesus confirm this promise is true.

What is the meaning of the With God all things are possible?

Let’s look at the context of this Bible verse. Jesus was speaking to a rich young man explaining it was easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. The man asks how he can be saved, Jesus explains that salvation is humanly impossible without God. We cannot save ourselves, it is a work of God.

Salvation is one of the many ways God shows his love to us and makes the impossible, possible.

What other impossible things has God made possible for you. Make a list. I think you will be surprised.

When you have a hard day homeschooling or even a difficult child, remember this Bible promise, “With God, all things are possible.” Focus on what God can do, not what you can do.
