Yesterday, we looked at Hebrews 13:8 and promise that Jesus is the same, yesterday, today and forever and that is promise we can build our lives on.
As you read Hebrews, you will see a theme is Jesus. How Jesus is a better high priest and Jesus is always faithful.
Because Jesus is faithful to the promise he made to us, we can be assured our confession and hope are secure.
Let’s hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering; for he who promised is faithful.
Hebrews 10:23
Hebrews 10 starts by telling us with Jesus we have the reality that law, priests, and sacrifices tried to show us. No longer do we need priests to make sacrifices for our sins. Jesus is the final sacrifice and our hope.
Jesus is the fulfillment of the Old Testament promises. Because he is faithful and always has been faithful, our hope, our confidence, and confession are secure.
