I’m tired of change.
In the last year, all the stability we felt in our lives is gone. Everything changed overnight. We use phrases like “the new normal” to describe these changes.
But no matter what happened in the last year, in the last decade, the last century or even the millenniums of time, this truth remains the same.
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”
Hebrews 13:8
Think about all the ways Jesus hasn’t changed.
He is faithful always.
His words and instructions for life abide forever. They do not change day to day.
His was in beginning. John 1:1-5 tells us Jesus was in the beginning with God and all things were made by him and through him.
We don’t know what will happen today, but we can trust that Jesus will be here for us and Jesus has not changed and will not change.
