Did you know that God is doing a new thing in you every day?
In today’s verse from Isaiah 43, this chapter looks forward to a time when the Israelites would be released from captivity and when Jesus would come and complete the work of redemption.
Behold, I will do a new thing.
It springs out now.
Don’t you know it?
I will even make a way in the wilderness,
and rivers in the desert.
Isaiah 43:19
What a fantastic promise that God is working in us.
We don’t always see how God is working to make a way in the wilderness or a stream in the desert, But he is working.
We don’t always see God’s work in us, We don’t always feel God’s work in us. But he is still working in big and small ways.
Step back and take a big-picture look at your life. Be honest with where you are now, where you were and where you are going. You will likely see bigger changes than you imagined.
